Nudism In National Parks & National Forests
GETTING NAKED IN NATURE GALLERIES
Fortunately, there's no official policy against nudism in national parks, United States Forest Service properties or Bureau of Land Management areas. It's not exactly a carte blanche to go running around naked on public lands - use your good judgment of course. However, most forest rangers don't mind looking the other way (well, after a bit).
In the case of hot springs, many on federal lands are clothing optional, with signage indicating such. Otherwise, it's first come, first serve. Many of our members enjoying "rogue nudism" in hot springs report other hikers joining in once they realize they've come upon "naturists" in their favorite spring.
The truth, we're blessed with millions of acres of natural forests and parks and finding secluded areas for a nudist camping trip is as easy as getting lost. Favorite parks for naturists include Coronado National Forest and Volcano National Park (rangers don't seem to mind at all). Also, Trout Lake Trail in Yellowstone is a favorite. But really, any national park near where you live probably has plenty of space for you to get naked. Take some friends, and a camera. Nudists In Nature
